Each Sampler comes with 1 bottle of each of these fantastic not Cabernet wines:
Lot 318 | 2020 Costieres de Nimes Vielles Vignes GSM - The same wine out of the barrel was rated 92-94-Points by Jeb Dunnuck, who commented on it's "rocking levels of black and blue fruits as well as notes of smoked meats, violets, and spring flowers. Concentrated and mouthfilling on the palate, it should be another gem of a wine from this talented team."
Lot 90 | 2018 Walla Walla Old Vine Merlot - Rated 93-Points at the Sommeliers Challenge. Opaque in the glass and brooding at first with dusty black cherry fruit poking through the darkness. However, it quickly opens up to reveal pretty violet florals combined with black cherry, blackberry, and mineral with a kiss of toasty oak and baking spice/licorice. Lush on entry but amply structured with concentrated black fruit fanning out across the palate, this wine finishes long and smooth. Powerfully built but supremely harmonious, this wine will age nicely over the next decade but drink well in its youth.
Lot 218 | 2019 Napa Valley Syrah - Rated 92-Points at the Sommeliers Challenge. T his is another no-expense-spared offering including 60% new French oak. Stylistically right-up-the-middle, knockout Syrah that comes to us from the same producer as Lot 250 Rutherford Cabernet and Lot 222 Rutherford Merlot. Rest assured, this is some killer dirt.
Lot 142 | 2018 Horse Heaven Hills Malbec - Rated 93-Points and Best of Class at the LA International Wine Competition. Dark and rich with perfectly-ripe fruit, chocolatey oak, and a sexy structure, this Malbec delivers all the complexity of an $85+/bottle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Lot 234 | 2020 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir - This a no-expense spared program utilizing approximately 25% new French oak and sourced from estate vineyards in the gorgeous rolling hills of Russian River benchmark Goldridge and Altamont soils.
Chateau Serilhan 2019 St. Estephe Cabernet/Merlot - Rated by many top wine publications as high as 94-Points. The closest thing to Cabernet Sauvignon that your are going to get in this pack. A Bordeaux blend of Cab and Merlot. A note on shipping : This special 6-pack includes complimentary shipping where we normally charge $10, HOWEVER it will NOT count towards the 12-bottle count for building a mix match bottle shop full case, which also waives the cost of shipping.
