Wine Details & Tasting Notes

Hailing from an award-winning Walla Walla estate focused on single vineyard, terroir-driven expressions (sorry, can't reveal the vineyard source, it'd give it all away), Lot 161 is an incredible showcase of provenance, coming from one of the region's oldest vineyard sites.

Let's get this out of the way: 11.8% alcohol. Don't let that fool you, this is a beautifully complex and juicy Petite Sirah that happens to have very low alcohol. Surprisingly medium bodied, fleshy and intriguing with notes of black cherry, lilac, coriander, worn leather, and cocoa powder. Juicy (I know I said that earlier) on the front of the palate with a backbone of fine tannins laced with chaparral herbs and pipe tobacco that evolves into a mineral finish with lingering palate staining black cherry.
