At these elevations, stronger UV radiation encourages the development of thick, protective grape skins, while the limited soil fertility yields small berries bursting with exceptional concentration. Yet for all their power, freshness is retained due to cooler daytime temperatures and an elongated ripening period that allows the fruit to develop fabulous depth while retaining natural acidity. Each varietal was hand-harvested, vinified, and barreled down separately for the utmost precision.
