Wine Details & Tasting Notes

The 2018 vintage for red wines in Washington State was about as close to perfection as it gets. Today's release, an estate-grown, single-vineyard designate 2018 Walla Walla Malbec, is from the same producer as N.97-N.99 and N.101 through N.106.

Sourced from the producers estate-vineyard (just a stones throw from the legendary Seven Hills Vineyard), it sells out of the tasting room for over $30/bottle and is yours today for well over 66% off the front line price - just $10/bottle, $120/case. There are only 250 cases available.

Deep ruby/opaque in the glass. Fennel, sage and mushroom mingle with spicy black cherry liqueur and fig aromas in a fascinating bouquet. Firm on entry with fleshy mid-palate tannins carrying dark fruit, rock and leather with firm oak and spice on finish. Balanced, complex and unique with terrific structure, this is a wonderful Walla Walla Malbec that will age nicely over the next decade. Should be settled into the bottle by late May, early June.

99% Malbec, 1% Petite Verdot
