92-POINTS, GOLD MEDAL!
2021 CRITICS CHALLENGE WINE COMPETITION

Classic Anderson Valley cherry aromas translate well to flavors with bracing acidity, providing a finish push. A Gold Award winner at the 2021 Critics Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition.
92-POINTS July 6, 2021

Sourced from one of the small, boutique Sonoma producer's that put cool-climate, racy, nervy Pinot Noir on the map with critics over the last 15 years. This is beautifully put together and will age well over the next decade. Was $60+, now $14/bottle, $169/case.

Pale-to-medium-ruby in the glass with cola spice, rainier cherry and wild strawberry fruit framed by dark earth and truffle/mushroom notes. Supple on entry turning firm on the mid-palate with cool-climate minerality melding with partial stem-inclusion tannin's providing a solid backbone with plenty of length and structure. Fleshy and juicy throughout with cherry fruit and cola spice riding lip-smacking acidity into a nice, long finish.  The mid-palate is just beginning to unfurl and with five weeks in the bottle now its actually showing quite well. Should be fantastic by the time it ships to you.

Check-in tasting 6.12.21 - Nicely stretched out in the bottle now...the bottle bouquet is soaring now, adding dimension and weight with air. 13.5% alc. No reason not to decant.
