BOTTLED SEPTEMBER 2020 - These wines are finally cracking open and starting to sing! Gorgeous, elegant and ethereal, this selection explores the various clonal selections from one single vineyard in Chehelem Mountain.
Original Release Notes:
This is a very special opportunity to explore four unique Pinot Noir clonal cuvees produced from a single-estate vineyard on Chehelem Mountain in Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley. Each case comes with three bottles of each of four clonal cuvees, Blends, A, B, C and D (indicated on the labels). Bottled 9/21.
Sublimely built, these Mountain Pinots are raised in mostly second-fill and neutral French oak to preserve the beautiful amalgam of fruit and terroir. Assembled by the winery and normally retailing for $65-85/bottle, these wines routinely score 91- to 94-points in Vinous and The Wine Spectator.
I presented tank samples of the final blends to wine writer Alder Yarrow last Fall. His Vinography.com reviews are below.

CHECK-IN TASTINGS - JULY 6, 2021
N.70 2019 Chehelem Mountain Pinot Noir Blends A, B, C, D: These wines are cracking open nicely. Super elegant and pretty, they will continue to evolve and gain complexity but they are drinking well now with a 24-hour decant. Of course, those of you with the patience to cellar these for a few more years will be nicely rewarded.
