Well over $70/bottle under the original label

Lot 583 is a 97-point James Suckling scored (under our label) single-vineyard showstopper sourced from a site that’s considered one of the finest for cold-climate Pinot Noir in the entire state – the list of accolades and mid-to-high 90s scores alone would take up an entire book chapter. Grown amidst intense marine influence, stunning groves of ancient towering redwoods, and a wild natural ecosystem, the grapes have been masterfully transformed into an electric wine with incredible depth and elegance. The aforementioned industry praise includes just about every glowing descriptor imaginable, but simply put, it absolutely sings.

The nose is precise and layered, opening with wet stone, lilac, forest floor, toast points, dark cherries, cinnamon, and clove that promise further complexity with bottle age. On the palate, vibrant acidity drives a core of dark cherries, pomegranate, strawberries, and florals before giving way to fresh tannins. The finish is long, marked by earthy terroir notes and cherry-tinged acidity that crests with a strong mineral note before settling into a delicate vanilla umami. Still in its early evolution, it will evolve wonderfully over the next 5-7 years, but a measured decant in its youth will serve you well.

Best Sonoma Cab I’ve ever had

"This is a stunning wine with finesse, clarity, and a dynamic finish. Cherry begins bold but finishes lighter, smoother, and enriched. There is a present minerality of gravel. There are notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and anise."

Very nice!

"Palate starts with some stone fruits then with mineral overtones. Very delightful!"

Typical Sonoma Pinot

"Heavy Ruby color with fruit on the palate."

Insanity!

"This is my first purchase from dN, and it is just insane that I can get this incredibly complex and delicate Pinot for $22! It truly tastes like a burgundy with some new world freshness. Good luck getting these before I do."
