Lot 417 is a 100% eastern-facing single-vineyard Chardonnay from a vineyard site rich with fast-draining volcanic basalt soils, aged in 100% French oak with 33% new wood. Ultra concentrated berries are brushed by a cool ocean breeze from the Van Duzer Corridor, softened towards the ground level by the surrounding Douglas fir trees. Inoculated with native yeasts, and rested on the lees, this wine will be ready to enjoy in its youth, or aged for a mellow, mouth-filling complexity.

Available for purchase in the U.S. only excluding AL, AK, AR, DE, HI, MS, ND, RI, UT, WV.

Today's offer is one with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest; a single-vineyard gem that would make David Lett or Joseph Drouhin proud - a baby Beaune in style, structure, and spirit - the definition of why Willamette Valley is so oft likened to Burgundy. Best part? It's a fraction of the market price for this list.

We sourced this wine from one of the most prized vineyard sites in the Willamette Valley. Our source produces a high-end Chardonnay from this vineyard that goes for $70/bottle, $840/case, with market values for this vineyard site reaching into triple digits. We agreed to remove the vineyard name and had ourselves a deal. How does $22/bottle sound?

Brilliant on the nose with wonderful, subtle complexity; youthful oak influence wraps around star fruit, yellow apple, white florals, hazelnut, fresh foraged mushroom, and lemon blossoms. The palate is expertly balanced with lemon and lime, further yellow apple, and fresh butter notes framed by medium acidity. The finish is long, uplifted, kissed by spice with fresh sliced vanilla, wafting apple and blossom umami before shifting to a final note of wet stone.

So, grab your flannels, cinch up your timber boots, and get ready to enjoy some of Eola-Amity's finest at a price that screams "Back up the Truck!!!"
