The ’23 Rosés are hitting the market, and we’ve been scouring California, high and low, for a dry, refreshing Rosé at a palatable price. We’re thrilled to report, the search is over.

Through a connection with a producer west of Highway 101 in the Sonoma Coast, we’ve scored an elegant Rosé of Pinot Noir, evocative of the legendary Rosés of Provence; one sip and you’ll be transported to summer.

Our source’s vineyards embody the best of the Sonoma Coast AVA; the cold nights and foggy mornings create an extended growing season perfectly catering to the notoriously finicky Pinot Noir grape, and well-draining soils force the roots deep, limiting yields.

Lot 448 is a 100% whole cluster pressed Pinot Noir with minimal skin contact, resulting in a pale salmon hue. It underwent native yeast fermentation in 100% stainless steel to preserve its unique coastal expression.

Elegant on the nose with refreshing wet river stones and spiced cherries, leading into deeper notes of red fruit and herbs - almost Provençal in its aromatics. The entry is fresh and expertly distributed; red fruits and spice rise over medium+ acidity accented by further wet river stones. The dry finish resonates with juicy fruits, uplifted herbs, and spice commanding another sip. This is a versatile Rosé, equally poolside-ready for the warmer months as it is festive for your holiday tables.
