2013 Yountville Brut Rose Methode Champenois

Wild salmon pink in the glass with tiny, persistent perlage. The bouquet is fresh and perfumed, packed with strawberry cream, toasted brioche, lavendar and mineral with nuances of nectarine and ruby red grapefruit. With air, red cherry, pretty passion and kiwi notes join the fracas. What a gorgeous bouquet. Tingling on entry (Dom Perignon's "stars"), but smooth and creamy across the palate (thanks to the extended lees ageing), with cherry and raspberry fruit beautifully suspended by crystalline minerality through a long, persistent finish.
