The appellation speaks clearly here, with a dusty aroma and texture surrounding subtle black fruit. A Gold Award winner at the 2021 Critics Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition.

This a stunning wine, classic Rutherford from tip-to-tail. The source winery has a variety of sub-appellated Napa Cabernet's ranging from $90-120/bottle and I think its fair to assume this would have slotted in that price range. Seems a hell of a deal at $32/bottle.

Dark with a kiss of cherry red, dense but not opaque. Leaping from the glass with dusty mint and crushed red rock mingling with blackberry and cassis, each precise and delineated. The pristine aromatics are striking. With air, toasty oak wraps around a deep core of dark fruits. Well-balanced on entry with perfectly-ripe and racy red and black fruits amply supported with juicy yet crystalline minerality. This wine is beautifully attenuated and super-precise, dancing on your palate with nuance and complexity. I have purchased several wines from this producer and every wine has tremendous precision and grace. My hats off to their winemaker.
