Our Core Collection Pinot Noir hails from a blue chip pioneering producer in the Russian River Valley. Produced from estate and select legacy grower sites and crafted using traditional Burgundian techniques, this stunner showcases a remarkable balance of grace and intensity. The wine’s phenomenal fruit underscores why its source program continues to garner both critical acclaim and a devoted following – pedigree and place clearly still matter. We agreed to declassify the label from Russian River Valley to Sonoma County, and as a result, were able to land this 2023 vintage star at an incredible Bottle Shop price!

Pouring a beautiful ruby color, the nose pulls you deep into the glass with rose hips, raspberry sauce, dried herbs, clove, and dragon fruit, while secondary notes of potpourri swirl around the rim. On the palate, exceptional acidity meets small, grippy tannins amidst raspberries, black cherries, and dried leaves in a delineated presentation. The dry, refined finish unveils barrel spice and flecks of vanilla, making way for uplifted strawberry and raspberry before crescendoing with waves of vanilla. You may find yourself peering into the glass, almost suspiciously, wondering how a Pinot this dynamic can be so affordable.

First time trying De Negoce Core Collection

"Our De Negoce choices in wines are usually different but we decided to take advantage of a good sale and try the 2023 De Negoce Core Collection Cabernet Sauvignon. We were very pleased with this wine. Not sweet. Not sour. Just right at the right price. We will buy it again."

Enjoyable, silky

"A clean, fruit-forward Pinot with smooth texture. Red cherry, strawberry, and a touch of spice lead into a soft, approachable palate. Tannins are light and silky, making this an easy, enjoyable everyday Pinot. A simple but well-crafted wine that delivers excellent value."
