Lot 433 | 2021 Arroyo Seco Pinot Noir 750ml

Lot 433
2021 Arroyo Seco Pinot Noir

750ml

Aged for 15 months in oak, and from the same high-end program we'd acquired this from in our previous life, this wine is sure to please, not to mention, punching well above its weight class. This is a perfect cellar defender you won't feel guilty opening on a Tuesday, or a Saturday.

Concentrated raspberry coulis and plum sauce are deftly interwoven with dried leaves, rose, black tea, and black cherries. A bit of air and the entry reveals fresh turned soils, spice, mushrooms, and further black cherry framed by medium, expertly balanced acidity and small, supple tannins. The finish has great length with vanilla, barrel spices, and a resonant red berry and dried leaves umami. Break out the bacon!

A relaxing Pinot.

"I enjoy this Pinot in a relaxing large glass after dinner with a good book. Not one of those memorable ones but very pleasing and well- priced. If still available I will order another six bottles. Sarah."

Excellent Flavor at a Great Price

"I would give this wine a 4.5, but my husband loves it, so I’m giving it 5 stars. I did 2 blind taste tests with hubby comparing this Pinot with 2 other deNegoce Pinots (both of which were more expensive), and he selected this one as his favorite both times. He says it is smooth with excellent berry flavor. I’ll be keeping this one in stock in our wine cellar!"

A great warm weather friend

"For summer, I like a red is easy going and the ASPN is just that. This wine pairs with Pacific Northwest fish and oysters as well as lamb. But it’s also a nice backyard bottle for a predinner bites"

DIdn't order enough

"My wife and I like Pinot Noir especially in the warmer month's.Ordered a case and after let it settle from the travel decided it was time to try it. Prepared some chicken on the grill and this wine was a perfect match. While it may look light in the glass it is full of flavor. I was lucky because the first thing the next day ordered more. you will like this wine. If you like Pinot Noir"

Outstanding Value!

"I have purchased two cases of this Pinot Noir and it is a beautifully open and delicious wine. It is on the lighter and more delicate side, but it never fails to be enjoyed and positively commented on by all those that drink it. A perfect summer wine and a great value. Highly recommend!"
