Lot 460
2023 Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc

750ml

$45/bottle under the original label

Vintage after vintage, this world-class estate Sauvignon Blanc program fetches 91-95 points from Vinous, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Jeb Dunnuck. Lot 460 is 100% estate-grown, with the fruit hailing from one of the oldest Sauvignon Blanc vineyards in all of Sonoma. Finishing touches for extra complexity come via a rare Sauv Blanc clone grown from 35-year-old vines on a nearby hillside.

A brilliant nose of delineated woodland gooseberries beckons you into the glass, with flecks of white peach intertwining with fresh cut grass, lime, and wet stones. A second whiff reveals tropical undertones that extend the welcoming freshness of the first. On the excellently weighted palate, medium-plus crystalline acidity unveils further nuances of lime and mineral essence, followed by a refreshing finish of delicate lime zest, white florals, and a subtle whisper of tropical notes.

"This is the third case of this my family has enjoyed. Everyone loves it for its light but lovely flavor. With holidays the last of it is gone and almost ready for another!"

Clean and crisp

"I am not a connoisseur by any means. I just know what I like and this is one I like. It has a clean, crisp taste with notes of citrus. Loved it with raw clams."

Really good.

"Best Sauv Blanc I've had from de Negoce. Really nice in every way."

Nice SB with a great mouth feel

"This is more of a citrus style SB, than grassy or with lots of mineral flavors."
