Lot 535 is an phenomenal Bandol-style Rosé from an iconic Sonoma estate. An elusive release that’s never seen on the secondary market and sold at $40/bottle direct from the winery, we were so impressed with the depth and richness of flavor that we inked the deal on the same day just to make sure there wasn’t any time for the seller to develop second thoughts.

Pale salmon on the pour, the nose is fresh and vibrant with red fruits, dried herb bouquet, and a strong minerality accented by juicy fruit and watermelon. The entry is clean and refreshing, showcasing kisses of cherries and strawberries brushed by blood orange, wet stones, and a perfectly interwoven, ever-present acidity. A dry, pleasantly long finish reveals wonderful fruit umami and uplifted spice that settles into blossoms, quickly beckoning another sip.
