Reviews
We both loved it!
"Impressive for a varietal that’s usually just a blending grape — this one stands totally on its own. Violet and lilac up front, layered over dark cherry and plum, with sage and blue fruit rounding it out. On the palate it’s plum and black cherry with white pepper and fresh-turned earth, fine tannins, finish goes on forever with vanilla lingering at the end. 94 points is well earned. Would buy again."

My go to with guests
"This is a fairly little known grape but huge flavor and great with meats. I find myself going to it for anything in the duck, lamb, pork or beef side of the menu and then for the cheese tray as well."

Dry Red
"This big red is drier than most, and I wasn’t sure I was gonna like it as much as their other reds, but after letting it open for about half an hour, a lot of the alcohol dissipated, and it really opened up nice. I would highly recommend it for those folks who love big reds."

Something Different
"Give this one a try if you’re enjoying some of the non-traditional grapes on their own. Petite Verdot gets used mostly in blends so you don’t see many wineries that produce it. When I do run into one from a label I’m familiar with I’ll usually grab a bottle and I’m glad I did with this one."

Solid and worth it
"This wine is beautifully floral and tannic. The tannins are not overly bitter or drying and it maintains an almost cab franc feel. I really enjoy the violet."

It's good now, but -
"I like to try young wines to get a sense of their potential. This PV is has lighter body than many, with tannins and spice that show promise. I won't revisit it again until next year."

Very Good
"We really enjoy Petit Verdot and this is an excellent example. I suspect more time will make it even better."

Petit Verdot
"Beautiful dark color, very nice legs, love the deep punt bottle, enjoy the taste as it has a bit of a bite, this is an excellent wine and a great value. Have tasted the other petit Verdot, a tad more expensive, and we like this version better. Have also tried the Malbec which is a great choice. Have not been disappointed by any of our several de Negose choices and we drink red wine seven daze a week in our house so we know a good wine when we taste one!"

Just ok
"It’s ok. Give it some time to breath. It’s not amazing but it’ll do for an easy glass of wine."
