Lot 555 is an estate-grown masterwork, crafted entirely with Cabernet Sauvignon from small vineyards rooted to the area's signature high-elevation volcanic soils. The vines produce sparse clusters of tiny, immensely concentrated berries, and under the expert guidance of a winemaking team with multiple 100-point scores in its pocket, are transformed into an intricately structured, supremely elegant, and cellar-worthy expression of singular terroir.

Dense on the nose, the fragrance lures you into the glass with deep layers of red fruit, currants, and cassis, framed by peony, iris flowers, and a halo of eucalyptus. The palate opens with intense structure – dark fruits and new leather are supplemented with baking spice, vanilla bean, and vibrant acidity, while chewy, seamlessly integrated tannins assert themselves throughout. The wine glides into a long, resonant finish, where youthful barrel character currently holds sway over a well of fruit and earth components behind a wave of vanilla beans – a promise of graceful evolution over the next decade and beyond.
