Lot 566 is a 100% single-vineyard Pinot Grigio from a stalwart Napa estate that also has choice holdings in Carneros. A modern California-style expression as refreshing as it is sophisticated, its balance is achieved through a combination of perfect cool climate terroir and deft minimal-intervention craftsmanship. This beauty never touched oak, aging in stainless steel to preserve its minerality and let the fruit shine.

Expressive and bright on the nose, it emerges from the glass with notes of elderflower, lime zest, almond paste, and tropical fruits, all haloed by wet stone and herbs. On the palate, bright acidity accentuates apples, lime, white peach, and florals with expertly weighted texture and a dry presentation. The finish gives a perfect touch of lingering spice, deftly interwoven with additional citrus and florals on a medium-length, exceptionally clean exit. A crowd favorite.
