Lot 571
2019 North Coast Red Blend

750ml

Over $50/bottle under the original label

Lot 571 features a Cabernet Sauvignon core masterfully blended with classic Bordelaise varietals and a touch of Zinfandel. From the stellar 2019 vintage (one of the best in recent decades), the wine shows impeccable fruit quality. Each component was aged individually in barrel for years before final blending, yielding plenty of depth and harmony.

Brooding and dark on the pour, the wine opens with aromas of spiced red fruits, eucalyptus, and violets. The palate is full-bodied and dry, delivering a mélange of red and black fruits framed beautifully by a delineated spice and pronounced barrel tones. Medium+ acidity and strong tannins provide both lift and structure. The finish is long, evolving from leather and spice into earth, vanilla bean, crushed florals, and a reprise of eucalyptus. The extended barrel aging has done wonders for the wine – this is a red blend with real aging potential.

Big Red

"I have purchased many wines DeNegoce. So I enjoy the wine so much. This was a very low risk by. I wasn’t familiar with big reds from the north coast but the price and my previous experience led me to pick up a case. This wine is delicious and drinks like a wine twice the cost. If you have not tried it, I would highly recommend picking up a few. Priced like a daily drinker so not a big investment."

Very drinkable red blend with

"Very drinkable red blend with low tanins and good finish. Easy to drink because it is not dominated by any flavor or finish. Good choice if you are looking for a nice wine for cheese and crackers or a light meal."

Enjoyable red blend

"This is a nice red blend. Bought a case, so will put a few bottles away to see how it matures. Worth every penny (ok, maybe nickel now that there aren't any more pennies being made)!"

A really nice wine

"I normally don't enjoy a blended wine but this one was very pleasant. It was soft on the tongue and had a beautiful after taste. If it's still available I will definitely buy more."
