Lot 588 is a highly collectible Moon Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon of the finest pedigree. A single-vineyard, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a family-owned Sonoma winery with long ties to this storied appellation. As they’ve done for decades, our source uses generations of winemaking know-how to produce timeless expressions of world-class terroir.

Powerfully expressive, the wine opens with an aromatic interplay of graphite, menthol, and crushed volcanic rock wrapped around a core of black cherry, plum, and cracked peppercorns. The entry is rich and structured, showcasing age-worthy componentry in every direction – high-toned cherry, deep leather, black fruit, and cedar resin unfold, anchored by medium-plus acidity and plentiful dry, grippy tannins. The finish is long and mineral-driven, leading into additional dark fruit, vanilla bean, and earth. Decant this generously if opening young, but keep plenty for future special occasions.
