Rutherford AVA stretches across the central section of Napa Valley and is situated at just the right distance from San Pablo Bay to create a climate that perfectly suits the cultivation of powerful Cabernet Sauvignon. Long, warm summer days are complemented by doses of fog and cool afternoon breezes, making for an optimal diurnal shift that allows the grapes to gradually develop full maturity. Located where gravelly soils offer a flawless balance of water retention and drainage, every aspect of this vineyard’s production was handled with the utmost precision and care.
