2019 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Garnet in the glass and effusive with ripe strawberry, cranberry and rhubarb notes haloed with black tea-infused florals and just a bit of pepper. Supple on entry with sappy red fruit caressing the midpalate while chalky, crunchy acidity adds structure carrying the pretty red fruit and tea notes to a long, lovely, resounding finish. Ripe yet pretty, medium-weight and very approachable with just a kiss of new French oak, this is a terrific Pinot Noir that will drink well in the near-term and age nicely over the next 7-10 years. Delicious.
