Folks, this is a smokin' good deal.
The 2018 version of this Pinot Noir front-lines for just under $60/bottle and scored 92-points from one of the main reviewers. The fruit is sourced from Nunes Vineyard in the Russian River Valley and produced by one of the indisputable pioneer's of California Pinot Noir. Just $16/bottle, $192/case...get it while you can folks.
Garnet in the glass and effusive with ripe strawberry, cranberry and rhubarb notes haloed with black tea-infused florals and just a bit of pepper. Supple on entry with sappy red fruit caressing the midpalate while chalky, crunchy acidity adds structure carrying the pretty red fruit and tea notes to a long, lovely, resounding finish. Ripe yet pretty, medium-weight and very approachable with just a kiss of new French oak, this is a terrific Pinot Noir that will drink well in the near-term and age nicely over the next 7-10 years. Delicious.
