Oh, did I mention, the wine is good (great, actually)? Classically-styled, it weighs in at just 14.2% alcohol and is perfectly-ripe with juicy, mouthwatering acidity.

Deep ruby/garnet combo in the glass. A core of black cherry and currant mixes with earthy graphite and crushed gravel notes with a pretty rose petal and Provence herb halo making things really interesting. Beautifully balanced and complex aromas. The palate is equally beguiling with supple, ripe blackcurrant and black cherry fruit, mouthwatering acidity and a robust, gravelly structure that carries the robust fruit to a long, sustained finish that echoes on your palate for a good minute. Yum.
