Lot 190 | 2018 Napa Valley Mountain Meritage 750ml

Lot 190
2018 Napa Valley Mountain Meritage

Opaque in the glass. Dark cherry is framed with Haagen Daas coffee ice cream and spicy cedar notes. The aromas are fairly monolithic and dense, as well as oak-dominated, but they'll unwind beautifully. Powerful yet supple on entry with beautiful mineral-laced, chewy tannins showcasing blackberry and black cherry fruit in a long, harmonious finish. While fairly oak-dominated, this blend is seamless on the palate and will flesh out with a good 8-10 months in the bottle. Look for this to drink nicely in its youth and age well over the next 10-15, if not 20, years. Glorious stuff.

Rich luscious meritage

"This is a big red wine. Starting off with big fruit forward notes, you also get vanilla, chocolate, and espresso. This wine begs to be had with a rich decadent meal. A+ stuff."

"My wife and I really liked this wine, full bodied, enough fruit, good mid palate, with some sparks on the finish! Thanks, Luke Milller"
