Lot 207 | 2019 Willamette Valley (Yamhill/Eola) Chardonnay 750ml

Lot 207
2019 Willamette Valley (Yamhill/Eola) Chardonnay

Honeysuckle and hazelnut are perfectly-pitched against lemon curd, spicy apple pie, and honey-poached Bosch pear in a beautifully delineated and precise bouquet with a nice white pepper perfume. Smooth and seamless on entry with vibrant, juicy citrus and orchard fruit perfectly rendered over lip-smacking mineral and wet river rock. Beautifully-textured, this wine glides across your palate dripping precisely-attenuated fruit into a river of mineral meringue, a wisp of vanilla, and further white pepper. Long, pure, and chock-full of equal parts creamy, blossomy succulence with nervy tension, this classic Burgundian-style Chardonnay will absolutely knock your socks off.

Reviews

Fresh, vibrant, and easy to love.

"Bright and beautifully balanced. Apple, ripe pear, and a touch of citrus, all wrapped in a smooth, lightly oaked finish."

Alex L. (5/5)

Very enjoyable Chard

"This is exactly what I'm looking for in a Chardonnay. Lightly oaked & floral, delicate notes of apple & pear, a little citrus (?)... a crisp sipper. If you are looking for that "typical" American/California Chard (chewy buttered oak), this isn't that . ENJOY!"

Lot 207 Chardonnay

"This wine has been controversial. Supposedly the same wine as Lots 77 and 128, but somehow nowhere near as good as these wines. I’ve drank both of those wines and while 207 is probably not as good, it’s still a good. Very Oregon/Burgundian. Minerality and lemon dominate."

Marc G. (5/5)

A real Crowd-pleaser!

"This very reasonably priced Chardonnay is lighter in style and should appeal to most everyone. Whether your group generally prefers an oaky Chardonnay or a dry Sauvignon Blanc, this wine threads the needle and would be my recommendation for a party white."

John C. (5/5)

Classic OR Chard!

"Delightful, classic Oregon Chardonnay. Lovely floral notes with apple, pear and vanilla on the palate. Light oak profile rounds things out."

Make more

"Very dry and not oaky. Great value"

I’m impressed

"My wife and I try a LOT of wines, and have a couple favorite Chardonnay styles, while appreciating others. This is an interesting, very good Chard. The tasting notes are spot on. Hope to try more Washington state whites."

Willamette Chardonnay

"Was a little apprehensive about buying 207 but it turned out to be quite a good deal. Really surprised to the quality of this Chardonnay out of Yamhill/Eola."

David T. (4/5)

Very good Chardonnay!

"I have tended to believe the reviews written about this one. This one is dead on the money and I'm not sure you could get better Wine I'm sure for this price love this wine others want too!"

Gary B. (5/5)

The lighter side of Chardonnay

"This is a lighter, leaner style of Chardonnay, and that’s a good thing. Lots of pear and apple fruit flavors with good acidity and a nice touch of supporting oak.."
