"A modern-styled Napa: complex, structured, round & sound. Black fruit galore (black cherry, blackberry), licorice, tobacco, dark chocolate and wet forest ground. Needs a hefty aireation (1 hour) in order for the aromas to settle. Can hold up a few more years of cellaring. Bottom line: a delicious wine with a much more expensive experience than its price."

"It has a high-toned, spicy nose with noticeable alcohol. Ripe red berries and light oak aromas are prominent. The wine has a touch of sweetness and primary flavors of blackberry, cherry, and strawberry. However, there are also underlying notes of plum and fig, adding complexity. With air time, the flavors become more pronounced and continue to evolve resulting in a smooth, silky texture."
