Wine Details & Tasting Notes

Dense, bold, and full-bodied, Lot 169 is a full-throttle 2018 Dry Creek Petite Sirah that will knock your socks off. Despite its lushness, this wine is perfectly-balanced, open-knit and accessible with broad appeal. Selling for over well over $40/bottle off the wineries website, its nicely priced at $12/bottle, $144/case. Unfortunately, I only have 5 cases so PS-lovers would be well-advised to move quickly.

Blackberry/blueberry pie and white flower aromas are haloed with spicy, toasty oak underpinned with vanilla. Chewy and dense across the palate but nicely-balanced with fruit and mineral spice that integrate seamlessly into the lush background of youthful tannins. The wine finishes rich and broad with mouth-coating tannins echoing with the ripe black and blue fruit.
