2019 Russian River Valley Chardonnay

Pale yellow in the glass. Opens with butter and honeysuckle blossom over a core of Honeycrisp apples. With air, caramel, Fuji apple skin, and Bosc pear mesh with flinty river rock and white lilies. Rich on entry with ripe fruit perfectly delineated over crystalline minerality. The finish is perfectly-focused with lingering toasted vanilla unfurling over ripe nectarine and white peach in an electric, mouthwatering and pulsating finish. Fabulous.

"This is a classic Russian River Chardonnay, full bodied, round, balanced with smooth finish. The buttery base with some light floral in the nose made it ideal with dinner. If we could have only one white wine this would be it!!! Now that all of our 2018 is gone we've loaded up with the 2019 and 2022."
