I thought I had been transported to Australia's Clare Valley when I first encountered this Riesling. The aromatics are worth the price of entry for sure and the palate delivers as well with wonderful fruit/acid tension and long, crystalline finish. Bone dry, this wonderful Riesling is one of Napa Valley's finest with the '17 and '18 vintages scoring multiple low-to mid-90's scores from major journals. Winery priced at $25+, yours today for $12/bottle.

Succulent florals surround crisp ruby grapefruit and fresh green apple with linalool and wisps of diesel adding complexity. The palate is bright and vibrant with a panoply of orchard fruit riding a bright, mouthwatering beam of acidity in an invigorating finish.
