$70/bottle under the original label
Lot 187 2019 Atlas Peak Syrah comes to us from the same producer as N.44 2018 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (which has excellent 93pt. reviews and only 250 bottles left in the store!) and N.45 2018 St. Helena Merlot (only 300 bottles left).
The fruit for Lot 187 is sourced from the legendary Stagecoach Vineyard and aged in 50% new French oak. The end result is a classic Stagecoach Vineyard Syrah, replete with succulent florals, blue fruit and coffee bean, and a powerful structure that will age beautifully over the coming 10-15 years. Winery priced at $70/bottle, yours today for $15/bottle, $180/case.
Only 100 cases available.
Deep ruby/opaque in the glass but not inky. Complex, beautiful bouquet of white lily, blueberry, and coffee bean with savory, earthy graphite, plum preserve and beef jerky notes rounding things out. Full-bodied and powerful on entry with blue fruit poking through a delicious amalgam of savory oak and plum reduction notes. Huge length on the finish with gobs of extract echoing across your palate. Should be nice this Fall.
