Lot 224 2019 Alisos Canyon, Santa Barbara County Syrah (14.8%) - This is classic, sun-drenched Santa Barbara...savory notes of aged ribeye, foothill herbs of anise and sage, ripe and juicy plums and brown sugar that lingers through the finish. Rich and focused on the palate with savory, chewy tannins laced with elegant mineral and ripe black fruit.

100% Syrah, 100% single-vineyard.
Fermentation in either concrete eggs or large format puncheons, 50% new.
Barrel-ageing post-fermentation typically 30-40% new French oak.
Drink 2021 to 2031 (these will get through very light bottle shock by August)
250-300 cases of each wine produced.
All wines bottled June 7th, 2021
