In the 1970s the quality white wine revolution was launched in Italy's Friuli Venezia Giulia region with the Collio DOC sub-region enjoying heaps of praise - a north star of quality in the greater region. Today, you have a chance to experience that legacy of quality first-hand with the finest provenance.

Lot 378 comes to us directly from the cellars of an internationally prestigious winery in the region, considered an ambassador for the wines of Collio DOC to this day. Expertly grown and crafted by third-generation farmers to the region, this is an elegant wine with a strong sense of place.

Immediately elegant and pretty with a bouquet of herbal notes delineated by peach, melon, and a kiss of flint; mineral and flower complexity emerge with a bit of air. The entry is fresh on the palate with great integration and excellent structure leading into a chalky finish with mouthwatering minerality - this wine has begun to mature beautifully, really showcasing its terroir.
