Lot 294 | 2021 Rosé D'Anjou 750ml

Lot 294
2021 Rosé D'Anjou

Pink cherry in the glass with just a hint of lilac. Effusive bouquet of raspberry, rose petal,  and red current are mineral-fresh and lifted adding wild strawberry essence, slate and a kiss of menthol with air. Smooth and balanced on entry turning rich and lush with red fruits but always balanced on a pretty beam of slatey minerality. Finishes clean and long and fresh. Drink over the next 2-3 years.

Rose D’Anjou

"Well balanced with just the right level of sweetness. A fragrant wine goes well with fruit especially pears and plums."

Sunny France in a Bottle

"So who has better Rose' than the French countryside wineries? No body! Simple and approachable. A glass of springtime fruits, strawberry, magnolia, springtime in a glass, and such a pretty color. Not too sweeet, not too dry."

A Dozen Rose's

"This was recommended by our daughter and became my wife's favorite. It is refreshing with just a slight sweetness. For our wedding anniversary she receives a case....a dozen rose's!"

Rosé d’Anjou for Aperitifs

"Rosé d’Anjou AOC is a good choice for spicy South Asian food. This bottle is a delight. It is slightly off-dry, with the sweetness balanced with good acidity. It is, for those who enjoy German Rieslings, a good wine to set out for appetizers on a warm summer’s day. Its off-dry profile begs for a second, third and more sip on its own. With the hint of sweetness, balanced acid, and spicy notes, it is good with food or on its own"
